Time for my story ...

Who: Sarah Bailey

What: Fantasy lover, gamer, dnd player, crafter, tarot reader, geek

Where: Northamptonshire, England

When: Since the 1980's

Why: Every adventure has to start somewhere, and I wanted to bring the excitement of the books I read and adventures my dnd party experienced into everyday life. And offer an opportunity to be transported to a fantasy world.

Motive: My motive was simple since a young age I’ve aways loved the point and click adventure games, the choose your own adventure books which naturally developed to open world video games and tabletop games as I got older. Through these experiences the idea for Atticus' Letters developed, perfect for those currently between dnd parties, inpatient for their next dnd session, disappointed when you near the end of a fantasy book you love as you know it will soon end. What if we had an ongoing adventure, where readers can jump in and enjoy the adventures ...

Opportunity: During the Covid lockdowns, I unfortunately had to leave my job as a Marketing/events coordinator and saw it as a perfect opportunity to launch my own business, something I have already thought about and dreamt of.

Means: I started with a small Etsy shop where I found how much enjoyment I receive from people buying my items and how much joy they were bringing them. So, using my 20+ years of marketing business experience I started the steps towards creating Atticus' Letters.
